**Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Construction Manager (CM)** to provide on‑site construction management oversight for a series of capital projects at our client site in Newburgh, IN. This short‑term engagement will require a highly seasoned professional with extensive industrial project experience and a strong background in field safety, contractor coordination, and construction execution.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Provide daily construction management oversight for capital project activities on an operating industrial site.

+ Monitor field execution to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and client standards.

+ Coordinate and interface with contractors, site personnel, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project continuity.

+ Oversee field safety compliance, including participation in safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and site audits.

+ Track daily progress, maintain documentation, and provide regular updates to project leadership.

+ Ensure quality control, adherence to schedule, and support issue escalation and resolution.

+ Verify that project deliverables and construction milestones are met within defined timelines.

**Required Qualifications**

+ **20+ years of construction management experience** , preferably in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments.

+ **Industrial work site experience** with strong competency in field safety practices and contractor oversight.

+ **Education Requirement:**

+ Bachelor’s degree **plus 16+ years** of relevant experience, **or**

+ **Non‑degreed candidates with 20+ years** of directly applicable construction management experience.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and maintain strong communication in a fast‑paced field environment.

+ Proven track record of managing construction activities safely within active industrial facilities.

**Preferred Skills**

+ Experience with metals, manufacturing, industrial chemical, or similar heavy‑industry projects.

+ Strong knowledge of safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and industrial site protocols.

+ Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and field coordination abilities.
