Technical Program Manager III, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Networking

**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 5 years of experience in program management.

+ Experience in information security and security architecture.

+ Experience with Network Infrastructure or Telecommunications.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

+ Experience with App scripting and SQL.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for defining and refining information security strategy and frameworks, ensuring they're aligned with business objectives. You'll be architecting and implementing InfoSec structures, defending against threats. This involves integrating security into the entire lifecycle of the network infrastructure and applications, leading security-by-design principles. A key part of your role will be working with leads to identify and build the security for cohorts, defining file access controls and permissions. You'll also lead continuous risk assessments, leverage threat intelligence, and conduct penetration testing to ensure the security posture remains secure against evolving challenges.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities:**

+ Define, develop, and refine the organization's overarching information security strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, and anticipates emerging threats and technological shifts.

+ Architect, implement, and maintain information security structures that defend against cyber threats, including comprehensive security frameworks, controls, and policies designed for a secure environment.

+ Lead the integration of security into the entire lifecycle of the network infrastructure and applications, ensuring that security is a foundational element during design, development, and expansion, promoting secure-by-design principles.

+ Identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities and threats through continuous risk assessments, threat intelligence analysis, penetration testing, and security audits, translating insights into strategic initiatives.

+ Oversee design and implementation of secure file access controls and permissions across all systems and platforms, adhering to the principle of least privilege and the need-to-know nature for all data access.
