Lead Business Execution Consultant - Global Mergers & Acquisitions Risk and Control Program

**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to play a key role in the development, implementation and execution of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions ("M&A") risk and control program. This position will coordinate with partners across Wells Fargo to provide project execution, as well as the planning and facilitation of key regulatory and compliance requirements within the line of business. The M&A risk and control program enables CIB and line of business management to make strategic decisions about which business opportunities to pursue, mitigates legal and reputational risk, and strengthens the overall environment in which we protect customer Confidential Information and Material Non-Public Information.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Master the full operational life cycle of an M&A transaction and provide hands-on, day-to-day support to deal teams, ensuring compliance with both CIB and M&A specific policies and procedures

+ Assist in developing and implementing strategic solutions to complex and varied regulatory challenges and requirements

+ Enhance and strengthen the infrastructure and technology required for the delivery of a scalable risk and control program

+ Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and enhancing operational risk & control within M&A

+ Identify business trends and self-identify gaps where operational and compliance risks could materialize

+ Assist in all M&A internal and external audits, inquiries, and regulatory exams, globally

+ Collaborate with legal and compliance to understand their business strategies and goals, as well as key risks

+ Ensure broad education and adoption of the various M&A controls across CIB globally

+ Support CIB-wide initiatives, projects, and development of risk and control programs

+ Be fluent in all CIB policy and regulatory requirements and assess potential impact to M&A

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 3+ years of financial or analytics experience; or a master's degree or higher in fields such as business, finance, or economics; or 3+ years of management consulting or strategy consulting experience.

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Investment Banking experience, specifically in a risk and control position

+ Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution

+ Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

+ Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels

+ Previous experience with RCSA

**Job Expectations:**

+ Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not availablefor transfer upon hire.

+ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

**Pay Range**

$115,900.00 - $206,100.00
