IT Product Owner (Corporate)

**Job Description:**

The IT Product Owner (Corporate) will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product by ensuring it is brought to life at Nespresso USA. They work closely with the IT Teams and other Product Owners to ensure that releases are reflective of product strategy (i.e. vision and roadmap) and receiver needs, and acts as a key information conduit for the development teams. This role will also be responsible for developing User stories in the overall product and managing User stories backlog and is accountable for the prioritization and the overall tactical value delivery in the product lifecycle. This is a hybrid-based opportunity working onsite at Nespresso's Corporate Office in New York City (Manhattan) a minimum of 1 day/week and the rest remotely.

**Responsibilities:**

_New Product Development_

• Responsible for innovation and IT product lifecycle management within the Nespresso USA market.

• Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.

• Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the customer.

• Works to continuously identify opportunities within the business and takes action to execute on those opportunities.

• Supports the market governance processes by acting as Service Function Owner (SFO).

• Develops working financial budgets and resource plans in conjunctions with Procurement guidelines for new products.

_Maintenance and Enhancement_

• Creates and manages local product roadmap and contributes to the Nestle and Nespresso global products backlogs.

• Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.

• Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

• Creates and manages product KPIs and success criteria.

• Forecast run costs and resources for backlog.

_Relationship Management_

• Works with cross-functional local and global teams and various stakeholders within IT and Corporate business functions.

• Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features and prioritization.

• Manages relationship with 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Works in an agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities and outlines milestones for delivery.

• Establishes working squads when needed and keeps community at large abreast of changes and needs.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Computational Science or in a related field required.

• 5+ years of professional work experience in IT required, with exposure to being a Product Owner or Project Manager in an product-based IT organization strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.

• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment required.

• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, be agile and ability to work on different projects based on the needs of the business required.

• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments preferred.

• Coordinating, prioritizing, and validating Technical Team’s and Vendor’s work preferred.

• Experience with CRM systems such as Confluence or JIRA is a plus.

• Current or prior experience working with financial systems is highly desired.

• Willing and able to travel up to 10% based on the needs of the team and the business required.

The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
