**CTG is seeking to fill a Digital Asset Management Architect position for our client.**
**Location:** New York, NY-Onsite
**Duration:** 4 months, potential for extension.
Candidates should live in the Greater NYC area.
W2 only, No C2C
Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions.
**Duties:**
+ Design and oversee the enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) architecture, including metadata models, taxonomies, tagging structures, and governance frameworks.
+ Lead the implementation, optimization, and scaling of the DAM platform (e.g., AEM Assets) to support end-to-end content lifecycle management.
+ Integrate the DAM with upstream and downstream systems such as AEM Sites, Workfront, PIM, CRM, marketing automation platforms, and creative tools.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to define content workflows, automation opportunities, and asset governance standards.
+ Establish best practices to ensure asset quality, consistency, findability, and compliance across the enterprise.
+ Provide technical leadership, solution design, and architectural guidance throughout DAM-related initiatives.
**Skills:**
+ Strong expertise in Digital Asset Management platforms, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets.
+ Deep understanding of metadata modeling, taxonomy development, controlled vocabularies, and asset governance.
+ Proficiency integrating DAM platforms with enterprise systems such as PIM, CMS, CRM, and creative production tools.
+ Solid knowledge of API frameworks, cloud environments, content workflows, and automation.
+ Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
**Experience:**
+ 7+ years in Digital Asset Management, content technology, or related architecture roles.
+ Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise DAM solutions at scale.
+ Track record of leading cross-functional technical implementations and complex integrations.
+ Experience working with AEM Assets and related Adobe Experience Cloud solutions strongly preferred.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
