THAAD Subcontracts Program Manager

**Job Description**

In this role you will:

+ Oversee all supply base ramp activities for assigned suppliers.

+ Manage the execution of subcontracts for funding of suppliers to ensure they can meet BAE Systems delivery rates.

+ Partner with Supply Chain Planning, General Procurement and Subcontracts to ensure the supply base is well prepared for increases in production rates.

+ Validate suppliers current capacity and abilities to meet BAE Systems long term production rates.

+ Author, manage and influence the creation of long-term pricing agreements with the supply base.

+ Participate and support Supply Chain Risk Management activities within the PGSS product line.

+ Support Dual sourcing activities remaining aligned to production programs long term strategies.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time

+ Bachelor s degree in a related field of study

+ Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Subcontracts & Supply Chain Management

+ Strong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies

+ Experience in new business capture to include proposals

+ Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.

+ Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teams

+ Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels

+ Ability to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources

+ Ability to communicate with senior management regarding supply base performance (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives

+ Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliers

+ Technical and business acumen

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations

+ Master s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration

+ Prior experience in Planning, General Procurement, & Subcontracts.

+ Experience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

+ Program Management Institute s (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

+ Demonstrated Risk Management experience

+ Experience with information systems such as Oracle

+ Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)

+ Significant experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.)

+ Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
