BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our development efforts in our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support development program activities, including being a member of the performance and simulation team, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining analysis processes.

Our engineers are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams focused on developing cost-effective systems that meet the needs of our customers. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of proteges, developing white papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance

+ ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics or related fieldwith a minimum of 6 years' related experience

+ Extensive experience with MATLAB

+ Experience with digital image processing and algorithm development

+ Experience performingcomprehensive system modeling and requirement analysis to ensure technical specifications are met

+ Experience analyzingdata and report against requirements

+ Experience managing and participatingin trade studies and peer reviews

+ Experience preparing and deliveringtechnical presentations internally and with customers

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Master s or PhD in related field

+ Experience with device physics

+ Experience with signal processing

+ Experience with missile systems and guided projectiles

+ Experience with infrared (IR) focal planes

+ Experience working in an Agile environment

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
