BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our development efforts in our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support development program activities, including understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes. This position has growth opportunities to support failure analysis efforts including running tests in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures.

Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of proteges, developing white papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ An active Secret clearance is required for this position
+ ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science and at least 4 yearsapplicableexperience
+ Experience creating and reviewing systemsrequirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
+ Experience creatingsystem test plans, procedures and reports
+ Experience monitoring and reportingmetrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
+ Experience managing and participatingin trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
+ Experience aiding in the developmentand production of a complex electro/mechanical system including requirements development, integration, test, verification & validation and qualification
+ Experience communicatingeffectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers
+ Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Experience supportingproposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.
+ Excellent organizational & time management skills
+ Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
+ Experience allocatingrequirements to engineering disciplines
+ Experience preparing and deliveringtechnical presentations internally and with customers.
+ Experience supportingtest equipment requirements, design, and validations activities.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
