**JOB SUMMARY:**
Polaris is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing to provide technical leadership for assembly manufacturing technology across global manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for designing, specifying, and leading the introduction of new assembly equipment and processes to support product launches, capacity growth, and continuous improvement initiatives to enable new to Polaris manufacturing methodologies. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will work within the global advanced manufacturing organization and collaborate closely with and lead the manufacturing, design engineering, quality, maintenance, IT, and lean teams to define and implement robust, safe, and cost-effective assembly manufacturing equipment at Polaris global manufacturing facilities.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
+ 5+ years manufacturing in assembly manufacturing.
+ Strong experience implementing assembly equipment, tooling, and production systems.
+ Automotive assembly experience (OEM or Tier 1) is highly desirable.
+ Experience in assembly automation, DC torque tools, In Process Test (IPT) and End of Line Test (EOLT) systems, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and APQP processes such as PFMEA and Controls plans is highly desired.
+ Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
+ Proficiency with PC's (MS Office)
+ Excellent mechanical aptitude and mechanical skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong Project Management skills.
+ Desire to work on, ride, and improve industry-leading Powersports products.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience leading global or multi‑site manufacturing projects.
+ Advanced knowledge of automation and Industry 4.0 technologies in assembly environments.
+ Experience with robotics integration, vision systems, or smart manufacturing solutions.
+ Background in capital equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning.
+ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Experience working with global suppliers and cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
+ Exposure to digital manufacturing tools and manufacturing simulation software.
**Position Overview:**

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer serves as a technical expert, providing guidance on assembly processes, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring robust, scalable manufacturing solutions across Polaris operations.
