As a **Security Officer Patrol Screening** in **Monroe Township, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading dock areas, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel and/or visitors, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by observing package handling areas, vehicle traffic, and high-volume movement zones, while following post orders and reporting incidents in a timely manner.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
