Press Operator

The Advance Group has partnered with an environmental company in Monroe, MI currently seeking experienced Press Brake Operators!

Job Duties of Press Brake Operators include:

Operate CNC Plasma and Press Brake equipment to produce metal parts to specification.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Use hand tools and measuring instruments, including calipers, to verify dimensions and product quality.
Perform routine maintenance on Press Brake machinery to maintain proper performance.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and maintain efficient workflow.
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for material handling as needed.
Assist with programming the Press Brake and CNC Plasma table for complex cuts, bends, and shapes to ensure precision in production.

Requirements of Press Brake Operators include:

3–5 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar fabrication/manufacturing role.
Strong basic math skills, including measurement and calculation ability.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Experience using hand tools and performing quality inspections (preferred).
Solid understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.

Compensation for Press Brake Operators:

Starting pay is $25-26hr based on experience.

Hours for Press Brake Operators:

1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm
Must be available for occasional Saturdays. 5-6 hour shift when working Saturday.
