What You’ll Do As A Journeyman Maintenance Technician:

Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts
Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
Repair or replace faulty components
Install specialized functional and structural parts
Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts

Requirements – What You Need To Be A Successful Journeyman Maintenance Technician:

Journeyman Electrician license required
Completion of government or company-sponsored apprenticeship program or related degree preferred
Strong problem-solving skills handling multiple variables
Proficient with math: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
