As a **Security Officer Ingress Control** in **Minooka, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support security-related protocols for people, visitors, and deliveries. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and maintain required logs and documentation for the location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic and truck flow at entry gates, and report maintenance, security-related, and/or operational concerns observed during the shift.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
