Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. **Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Tue08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Fri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall environment.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized presence.

+ Assist with de-escalation efforts, provide directions and general assistance to the public, and support crowd management during busy shopping periods and/or special events.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
