**Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of a pharmacist the pharmacy technician performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with state/federal regulations and department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum** :

+ High School Diploma/GED

+ Good communication skills

+ Ability to work as a team member

+ Knowledge of drug names and basic math

+ AZ Pharmacy Technician license or AZ Pharmacy Intern license

**Preferred:**

+ A minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred

+ Ability to use MS Outlook Word and Excel preferred
