As a **Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Welcome Associate** in **Mc Lean, VA** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service by greeting visitors, customers, and staff, managing access to the location, and following site-specific security-related procedures.

+ Monitor the front desk area, maintain visitor logs, issue badges or credentials as directed, and communicate access activity to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, service needs, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.

+ Support loss prevention and security-related awareness by observing activity at entry points and reporting unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or suspicious circumstances.

+ Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to daily front desk operations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
