Make an Impact on Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement

We're seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support and strengthen our safety culture in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll collaborate with operations, leadership, and HR to ensure compliance, drive safety initiatives, and help create a workplace where employees can perform at their best every day.

What You'll Do

+ Support the implementation and administration of site EHS programs and initiatives

+ Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations

+ Deliver safety orientation and training programs for new and existing employees

+ Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements

+ Assist with EHS documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping

+ Monitor safety metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

+ Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities

+ Partner with HR on workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs

+ Proactively identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions

+ Help foster a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement

What We're Looking For

+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Experience supporting EHS programs in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment

+ Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory standards

+ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization

+ Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and wearing required PPE

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume production environments

+ Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM

+ Experience developing and delivering employee safety training

+ Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles
