We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level CAD Drafter to support utility and civil design projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with foundational AutoCAD experience who is eager to learn and grow in a technical drafting environment.Key Responsibilities

Utilize AutoCAD 2D to convert hand-marked field drawings and annotated PDFs into accurate, clean as-built plans
Interpret civil and utility plan drawings, including dimension callouts (e.g., distances from edge of pavement, centerlines, etc.)
Place and label standard utility symbols based on provided legends and reference materials
Work from field-marked documents that include coordinates, pipe designations, and fitting callouts
Accurately input and maintain detailed attributes such as pipe size, material, pressure class, and depth
Ensure all drawings are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

Basic experience with AutoCAD 2D (coursework or internship experience acceptable)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, particularly in civil or utility contexts
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and drafting work
Comfortable working with annotated PDFs and transferring information into CAD systems
Familiarity with utility or civil drafting environments preferred
Exposure to gas utility drafting is a plus, but not required
Quick learner with the ability to apply new concepts and standards independently
