Security Guard - Enhanced Part Time

As a **Security Guard - Enhanced Part Time** in **Lexington, SC** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour**

**Day** **Time**

Sat03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Sun03:30 PM - 11:30 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to people at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.

+ Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or other security-related concerns.

+ Assist with closing and opening routines, support crowd management during busy periods, and provide directions or information to customers, visitors, and staff as appropriate.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
