As a **Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required** in **Layton, UT** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. In this role, you will support access awareness, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. **Pay Rate: $25.49 / Hour**

**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with the appropriate contacts.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or restricted area access attempts.
+ Support Allied Universal post orders by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of location policies, and assisting with security-related responses during alarms, evacuations, and/or other site events.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
