Warehouse Receiving Attendant - Luxor

**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

As a Warehouse Receiving Attendant, you will be responsible for daily operations of the warehouse.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack

+ Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity; report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor..

+ Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items.

+ Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.

+ Assemble and deliver warehouse orders.

+ Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)

+ Assist in all physical inventories.

+ Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor.

+ Perform other job-related duties as requested.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

+ Ability to operate a forklift (standard and automatic)

+ Able to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart

+ Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine

+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

**PREFERRED:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ College Degree in business administration

+ Two (2) years of warehouse and/or receiving experience

+ Knowledgeable of Stratton Warren

+ Experience working in a similar resort setting

+ Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification
