**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**
It is the primary responsibility of the Banquet Supervisor to oversee all aspects of day‐to‐day banquet services. You will ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of banquets and events. You will also oversee and manage the successful execution of banquets and events, ensuring that clients and guests have a positive experience while meeting the venue's operational and financial goals.
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:**
+ Work directly with Banquet Managers on staffing ratios, room lay outs, menu implementation and operation of events as well as closely work with the EMM and Catering Manager regarding service of events.
+ Review Banquet Event Order and understand the event as planned by the client and Catering Manager.
+ Communicate with support departments to finalize details relating to food, beverage, equipment, power and room set up for all responsible events; oversee the banquet service staff and ensure they are following department, property and corporate policies and procedures.
+ Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
**A GREAT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Two (2) years of experience in catering and banquets or related field.
+ Related work experience in the hospitality industry, high-volume entertainment venue restaurant and/or casino environment.
+ Have the ability to work varied shifts, which could include weekends and holidays.
