AV Electronic Technician - Mandalay Bay

**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

The Electronic Technician will collaborate with other theatrical departments during performances, rehearsals, and/or maintenance work with the goal of presenting an entertainment experience beyond our guest’s expectations.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Perform daily operational and preventive maintenance checks for all technical and entertainment-related systems and areas.

+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices or systems on the property.

+ Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on electronics, radios, RF Distribution, TVs, power supplies, electronic control signals, DVD players, and media players.

+ Keep informed and updated on current technical methods.

+ Maintain equipment and logbooks.

+ Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.

+ Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

+ Able to complete assigned tasks while wearing personal protective gear.

+ Knowledgeable in systems audio, lighting, video, projection, and RF or fiber optics.

+ General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

+ Operate skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, or other heavy equipment.

+ Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.

+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

+ Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Three (3) years of technical systems experience in technical support for entertainment and/or hotel systems.

+ Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
