_Phlebotomy experience is not required for this position, strong customer service skills are essential for this role._

+ **Facility:** Home Care - Eastlake Outpatient Office

+ **Location:** Palm Harbor, FL

+ **Status:** Part Time

+ **Shift Hours:** 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

+ **Weekend Work:** Every Saturday and Sunday

+ **On Call:** No

**Responsibilities:**

The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:

+ Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing

+ Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens

+ Referring specimens to outside laboratories

+ Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests

+ Performance of phlebotomy procedures

+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Experience:**

+ Required 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field

**Education:**

+ Required High School or equivalent

+ Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience

**Credentials:**

+ Driver's License

**Credential equivalent experience:**

+ Preferred Phlebotomy
