**Position Type: Part Time / Day Shoift**

**Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized behavior.

+ Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or direction during busy shopping periods or special events while maintaining a professional presence and providing courteous assistance.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
