**Job Description:**

+ Reviews staffing and census of all nursing units to ensure consistency with budget and patient needs, adjusting staff as necessary.

+ Facilitates patient admissions and patient flow.

+ Makes frequent rounds throughout the hospital to assess and resolve issues and incidents.

+ Provides consultation to staff as needed.

+ Promotes good interpersonal relations between all departments.

+ Assists staff in obtaining equipment and supplies as needed.

+ Provides crisis intervention for all hospital departments. Responds to and leads all code events.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

• Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]

• Basic computer skills [Required]

• Previous nursing management experience [Preferred]

• Previous experience with Cerner electronic medical record [Preferred]

**Education:**

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

**Work Experience:**

• 3+ years experience in acute patient care [Required]

• Critical Care or Emergency Department experience [Preferred]

**Licenses and Certifications:**

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

$35.07 - $65.24
