**Job Description:**

**PRN Rate $42.00/hour + Shift Differential**

**Shift: Variable coverage**

+ Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.

+ Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.

+ Supports scheduling of personnel to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation, using flexible staffing when appropriate.

+ Serves as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed. Performs team member orientation, training, and coaching, and provides input for performance evaluations.

+ Promotes a positive patient experience by ensuring service excellence, effective communication, and the delivery of timely, high-quality care by the team.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

+ Organizational skills

+ Verbal Interpersonal skills

+ Customer Relations skills

+ Proficiency in Grammar/Spelling

+ Ability to read/comprehend written instructions

**Education:**

+ Associate [Preferred]

+ Bachelor's [Preferred]

+ High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

**Work Experience:**

+ 3+ years experience [Preferred]

**Licenses and Certifications:**

+ Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) AND Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board [Required]

OR

+ American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) [Required]

+ Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
