JOB SUMMARY
Performs shipping and receiving functions to insure proper handling of incoming and outgoing supplies andequipment. Ensure proper scanning of all delivery documents and maintain all off site facilities receivingrecords. Assists the Lead Tech to resolve discrepancies concerning receipts and issues. Communicatedeliveries with Courier Services. Receive and deliver all tissue trackable implants to proper locations in a timelymanner and maintain proper documentation. Follow policy and procedure for all perishable items. AssistMaterials Management in strengthening relations between KHN departments to ensure maximum customersatisfaction. Uses proper body mechanics for lifting, moving and pulling. Requires strong computer skills withhigh levels of accuracy. Maintains a positive customer service oriented attitude with proper phone etiquette.Maintains a profession appearance at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
~ Receive all supplies and equipment accurately. Processes receipts and scans packing slips in MSCM asrequired
~ Document all receipt discrepancies and forward to appropriate department.
~ Research and resolve receipt and issue problems
~ Promote and utilize most cost effective shipping methods
~ Follow safety procedures daily according to department, Hospital, and HFAP standards.
~ Maintains cleanliness of the department and work area.
~ Accurately documents incoming and outgoing supplies and equipment.
~ Interacts with departments assists with incoming calls and concerns.
~ Knows and understands the critical role department plays in support of patient care
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or its equivalent is preferred..
Minimum Work Experience
One year experience in Receiving and Materials Management preferred.
Required Skills
Knowledge of computer based procurement systems
Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
