**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within an educational setting.

+ Monitor visitor access, review identification and/or sign-in records, and direct students, staff, guests, and vendors according to site protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

+ Support front desk operations by observing lobby activity, maintaining detailed logs and reports, answering phones when assigned, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.

+ Assist with access control and security-related awareness by helping to deter unauthorized entry, verifying credentials, and following established procedures for deliveries, after-hours requests, and visitor management.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ CPO is required.

+ An Armed Guard Card and/or License is required.

+ A minimum of 4 years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree, is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
