Security Guard Airport Overnight

As a **Airport Traffic Control Officer** in **Honolulu, HI** , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. **Position Type: Part Time - Overnight**

**Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.**

Wed11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Thur11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Sun11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

**Requirements:**

+ **20+ Years of Age**

+ **Valid Drivers License**

+ **Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge**

+ **Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.

+ Assist with access control, directional support, and coordination with airport and government location personnel during routine operations, delays, and/or unusual events.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
