**Job Description:**

Provide full spectrum program and project management services for designated projects. Manages the design development process in collaboration with project manager of design (PMD). Teams with the CCI management to staff large projects. Assumes lead role in project win and bid strategy, teaming arrangements, and risk management. Mentors and Coaches project assigned staff. Establishes and Maintains constructive and open communication with project assigned staff . Maintains overall contract authority over vendors and subcontractors. Drives the execution strategy to achieve as bid margins. Advises others on health and safety programs to ensure field sites are a safe working environment. Recommends procedures for detection, prevention and elimination of quality issues to ensure we are consistently producing quality work in the field. Tracks and reports on the performance of projects to CCI management and CDM Smith Unit management via integrated project controls effort(financial, schedule, & documentation). Provides continuous process improvement input to CCI on project development, risk management, operations, productivity, execution work practices, and quality. Display a knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services to ensure we meet CCI strategic goals. Maintains an effective business/client/staff development program for the Group in conjunction with the CCI management and CDM Smith Unit management to screen project opportunities. Focuses on “Must wins”, key accounts, and strategic initiatives. Delivers superior client service. Participates in all designated large bid or proposal efforts. Performs other duties as required. Provides strategic input to CDM Smith Business Units and CCI plans.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree. 10 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

**Skills and Abilities:**

Extensive knowledge of industry practices, processes, design, finance, health and safety, and management. Comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards, including the crisis management plan. Complete understanding of the full range of CDM Smith services; Knowledge of financial operations, marketing and employee relations; Understanding of labor relations and associated negotiations. Superior communication, organization, leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and planning skills essential. Proficient business development, marketing, and sales skills. General personal computer skills and specialized software skills including Primavera, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook or similar software.

**Background Check and Drug Testing Information:**

CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as “CDM Smith”) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. In addition, CDM Smith may conduct drug testing for designated positions. Background checks are conducted after an offer of employment has been made in the United States. **Additional Compensation:**

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.

An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.

**Pay Range Minimum:**

$153,462

**Pay Range Maximum:**

$283,878

Please note that pay ranges vary based on geographic location.
