As a **Security Officer Armed Vehicle Driver** in **Hoffman, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post where your reliability, integrity, and teamwork will make a meaningful impact every day.

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns, prohibited items, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.

+ Maintain readiness of assigned duty equipment, follow all weapons handling and reporting protocols, and complete required logs, incident reports, and other post documentation before, during, and/or after each shift.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card/license is preferred.

+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
