**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $24.37 / Hour**

Sat06:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sun06:00 AM - 05:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a highly regulated location.

+ Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and following post orders during routine operations and/or unusual events.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
