**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour**

Fri06:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Sun04:30 PM - 12:00 AM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report any concerns involving restricted or sensitive areas.

+ Support daily site operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining assigned post duties, and communicating relevant updates to supervisors, coworkers, and/or client representatives.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
