As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award\-winning culture\. On the DevOps team reporting to the Director of Pipeline and Platform Engineering, you will support projects at the forefront of hospitality technology progress\.
**What you'll do during a typical day:**
+ Architect next‑generation cloud platforms and automation solutions\.
+ Devise and evolve code‑driven automation strategies that ensure environment consistency across development, testing, and production\.
+ Build long‑term automation solutions using scripting and programming \(Groovy, Shell, Python, Terraform, or Java/JavaScript\)\.
+ Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance for UI, APIs, and microservices\.
+ Work with development teams to guide best practices, design patterns, and operational standards\.
+ Understand new architectural concepts and recommend improvements from an infrastructure and security perspective\.
+ Support reliability engineering efforts and participate in on‑call rotations for mission\-critical & revenue‑impacting cloud services\.
**Deliverables you'll take ownership of:**
+ Design and implement enterprise DevOps architectures, reference patterns, and tooling strategies\.
+ Implement and maintain CI/CD tools and pipelines across the organization \(GitLab preferred\)\.
+ Enable seamless, secure, and available software builds and deployments across Agile teams\.
+ Configure, tune, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters \(EKS preferred\)\.
+ Maintain containerized applications with Docker or similar technologies\.
### What It Takes to Make the Stay
**You have these minimum qualifications:**
+ Five \(5\) years of experience in Technology or a related field\.
+ Four \(4\) years with CI tools such as GitLab \(preferred\), or Bamboo\.
+ Four \(4\) years architecting and developing automation to support Continuous Delivery\.
+ Three \(3\) years administering Kubernetes\.
+ Three \(3\) years on AWS cloud platforms
+ Proficiency in scripting/programming in Bash
+ Experience supporting reliability efforts, on‑call rotations\.
+ Travel up to 10%\.
**It would be useful if you have:**
+ Bachelor's degree OR Associate's 6 years tech experience OR HS/GED 12 years tech experience\.
+ Seven \(7\) years of technology experience\.
+ Five \(5\) years of CI tool experience \(GitLab or Bamboo\), Cloud and Kubernetes platforms\.
+ One \(1\) year of management experience
+ Scripting experience in Python or Terraform

The pay range for this role is $90,000 – $145,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location\.
