**Job Description**

You will directly contribute to our nation s defense and security by playing a key role in the development of advanced systems. We are seeking a proactive engineer with a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.

In this role, you will manage system and configuration item requirements within DOORS, deriving requirements from specifications, allocating them to subsystems, and performing impact/traceability analyses. You will collaborate closely with system, architecture, design and verification teams to ensure system performance and that requirements are met. Additionally, you will contribute hands-on to system integration, verification and qualification activities. You will explore innovative applications of modeling and AI. Throughout the Systems Engineering V-Model, you will work with cross-functional teams including BAE Systems employees, contractors, and military service customers to drive innovation and deliver high-quality performance.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, and 6 years of related/relevant work or a Master s Degree and 4 years of related/relevant work

+ Experience with DOORS

+ Experience in an electronic lab including the use of commercial test equipment

+ Basic knowledge of Requirements and their purpose in systems engineering

+ Ability to handle multiple assignments and work in a dynamic environment

+ Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Currently hold an active Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

+ Experienced / trained in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) preferably Cameo/SysML

+ Proven use and understanding of system engineering concepts

+ Experience across the entire product development process

+ Including Architecture, requirements, test procedure development, system integration and requirement verification and validation

+ Experience developing test procedures and troubleshooting in a digital and Radio Frequency (RF) electronics lab environment, and potentially at customer domestic and international sites.

+ Cost Account Manager (CAM) training or experience

+ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $128831 - $219012

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
