**Job Description Summary**
The Senior Engineering Project Manager will provide overall engineering leadership of Health Awareness System project. This is highly complex role on a very demanding program. The successful individual will have matrixed leadership over a large team spread across several functions – from core engineering to the support groups. The Senior EPM will work closely with the Program Manager in interacting with the customer to bring the HAS product successfully through the product lifecycle into entry into service. This is a position that will contribute significantly to the success of our FVL solution. The role will report to the FVL Executive System Integration Leader (SIL)

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Hold responsibility for delivering engineering excellence on the HAS project
+ Demonstrate strong project management and leadership expertise on the HAS project
+ Effectively manage multiple broad-scope challenges simultaneously across a matrixed organization for the HAS project
+ Drive a successful HAS NPI project philosophy in meeting customer milestone deliveries to agreed cost and schedule commitments
+ Deliver quantifiable results through leading, motivating, and inspiring others
+ Drive a culture of lean & accountability using Flight Deck
+ Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels, and provide specific engineering strategies, credibility, plans and actions that differentiate us from our competitors
+ Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication internally and externally
+ Maintain high visibility as a key Engineering Leader in the Aviation community while being respected for maturity, professionalism, expertise, sound judgment, passion for excellence, long-term commitment and uncompromising integrity
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or related field
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management
+ This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.
