**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our ER Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, you’ll be the first touchpoint to the people in our community during health emergencies.
Everyday, you will be a multitasker who can react quickly as you prioritize patients based on their medical necessity while providing emergency triage to others.

+ Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
+ Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient’s condition as needed.
+ Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition.
+ Engage in other activities that will benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc

**Job Requirements**
**Required**
+ Graduate of a nursing program
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
+ BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association
+ NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required within 3 months of hire
+ ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required within 5 months of hire
+ PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within 5 months of hire
+ NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required within 6 months of hire
+ TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) required within 12 months of hire
+ ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) required within 18 months of hire.
Where You'll Work
The Emergency Room is a 26 bed and Level III Trauma Center that treat minor injuries to complex trauma cases and the care team has the skills and expertise to help in any situation. We are designated as a Primary Stroke Center, a Pediatric Ready Hospital, and have the experts you know and trust.

**Pay Range**
$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
