**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our General Surgeon, you will help our growing patient base in Gilbert, Arizona, receive expert surgical intervention so they can achieve optimal health outcomes and a faster recovery. By joining our established, multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in our facility's expansion as we build a Level III and IV Trauma program while increasing our elective surgical capacity.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive surgical care and clinical consultations for a diverse adult patient population. You will be expected to perform a variety of procedures—including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, and colectomies—while managing a balanced schedule of inpatient consults, OR time, and outpatient clinic visits. You will operate within a supportive environment, collaborating closely with fellow surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Assistants to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Opportunity Highlights:
+ This service line is expanding and building Level IV Trauma program, expanding elective case volume.
+ Will be joining an established group of providers.
+ The role does not see Pediatric patients.
+ Call schedules are 12 and 24 hour shifts - census varies. Clinic varies based on call/post operative volume and elective growth.
+ Outpatient: 10-20 patient per day; Inpatient and consults are growing.
+ Typical work week - Varies based on weeks/months/census/surgical case volume. Typically have 1.5 days of clinic with a mix of new and established/post op visits. The rest is a mix of call and OR.
+ Procedures: Appendectomy, Lap/chole, Hernia, Colectomies, really varies based on elective and call volume - building Level III trauma program combined with ACS call coverage.
+ Call: Shift based per contract.
+ Additional practice details: Great team, thriving community, really a humble team of surgeons with high regard of each other, great team support with Medical Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.

**Pay Range**
$430,747 - $579,550 /year
