**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, post orders, and applicable laws while supporting a professional presence on site.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
