BAE Systems is looking for a Quality Technician who is excited to join a leading top tier global aerospace & defense enterprise as part of the C4ISR business area. This role is a full time, onsite position located in Fort Wayne, IN.

As a Quality Technician you will leverage your knowledge and experience to help the team meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets. This role focuses on communication with internal and external customers, supporting continuous improvement, and helping the team make decisions and drive actions based on data.

Responsibilities include:

+ Perform final Quality review (sell-off) of hardware

+ Collaborate with Operation as needed

+ Reviewing and analyzing data to improve yields and drive continuous improvement initiatives

+ Participating in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities

+ Control of non-conforming materials, including leading containment, disposition activities and perform audits as needed

+ Supporting production through Corrective Action Board

+ Participating in Production Process Verification (PPV) / First Article Inspections (FAI) activities

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ High School degree and 1-2 years of experience

+ Basic understanding of quality science tools (8D RCCA, SPC, Auditing)

+ Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement

+ Organized; capable of juggling several tasks simultaneously

+ Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

+ Team-oriented; ability and desire to work with a cross-functional team

+ Ability to obtain Secret clearance

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Familiarity with relevant industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, IPC-A-610)

+ Familiarity with electronic manufacturing

+ Active Secret or higher clearance

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $46898 - $75035

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
