Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience in program or project management.
+ Experience with construction safety and program management.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Certified in Safety Professional certification or other applicable EHS certifications.
+ 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
+ Experience working in operational data centers with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
+ Knowledge of safety metrics reporting.
+ Understanding of the project management process and basic construction contract structures.

As a Construction EHS team member, you will support the EHS construction program, collaborating with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) cross-functional teams and contractors to protect Google’s interests. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy EHS programs and initiatives across a defined area. You will partner directly with GDC teams, general contractors, trades, integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve EHS programs and project performance. You will be responsible for pre-qualification evaluations, project manual updates, and communicating EHS expectations. You will engage in planning, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery. You will also be responsible for establishing, tracking performance metrics, developing best practices, and reporting to stakeholders for scaling.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Lead the development and ownership of the EHS program for area construction oversight and data collection.
+ Ensure that contractors deliver on program safety performance expectations and agreement requirements providing timely solutions to issues.
+ Monitor, advise and assist the construction project teams to protect people, environment and ensure compliance.
+ Drive the culture that embraces a continuous learning approach and aligns with organizational strategies including purpose and goals.
+ Liaise with the wider EHS Construction Team to ensure best practices are implemented, progress reported, trends and data captured, analyzed and risks mitigated to an level ensuring that the operational capacity of a live data center is not compromised.
