Mechanical Engineering Intern

**Job Description**

+ Assist engineers with developing test plans for HVAC unit rating, qualification and reliability testing

+ Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing

+ Assist engineering in product design and development

+ Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support

+ Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation

**Qualifications**

+ Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred)

+ Minimum GPA of 3.0

+ Understanding of engineering fundamentals.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Test prototypes and write reports to document results

+ Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages)

+ Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment

+ Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding)

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Ability to perform mechanical design calculations

+ Ability to perform basic design modifications
