Senior Systems Administrator

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Systems Administrator** to join our team in **Fallon, NV** . This is an **onsite** position.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Implementing and maintaining secure configurations for operating systems and network devices in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

+ Administering and supporting boundary protection devices, including managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptographic devices, and intrusion detection systems

+ Conducting vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to identify, document, and remediate security findings

+ Utilizing DISA STIGs and the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker to validate system compliance and enforce security baselines

+ Incorporating automated benchmarks and security controls within DoD Host-Based Security Systems (HBSS) to strengthen endpoint protection

+ Analyzing assessment results and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and implement corrective actions that enhance overall network security posture

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ B.S. Computer Science, Information System Management from an ABET accredited institution or IA/CS technology field with 5+ years of IT / Systems Administration related experience. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience as an IT technician on DoD classified networks is acceptable

+ Experience as a Computer/server systems administrator in a Windows environment

+ Experience implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides

+ Demonstrated experience in: administering boundary devices (i.e. managed switches, proxy servers, routers, firewalls, cryptography, and intrusion detection systems), correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within a network environment, and managing campus-scale (multiple buildings, hundreds of users) server installation

+ DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Program (IA VMP) experience

+ Possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as IAT Level II in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M. (i.e. GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP & Vendor certification and IT Training Provider certificate for network environment main operating system)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of experience performing vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks

+ 5+ years of experience managing DoD Host-Based-Security Systems (HBSS)

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have current and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. Frequently move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility. Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions. May be exposed to chemicals associated with the work performed.
