CTG is seeking to fill a Hydro Maintenance Operator III position for our client.

**Location:** Estacada, OR

**Duration:** 12 months

**Duties:**

+ Independently perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance at hydroelectric facilities, including plant startup, manual shutdown, and restart.

+ Install new equipment and replacement components, applying a broad range of maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

+ Monitor daily operations and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

+ Follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while making independent decisions as needed.

+ Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation, and work with facility management systems.

+ Operate and maintain tools and equipment including hand tools, electric drills, skill/table saws, chain saws, hydraulic and air tools, electrical test equipment, cranes, pickup trucks, and forklifts.

**Skills:**

+ Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.

+ Proficiency or willingness to learn facility management software.

+ Basic understanding of fire prevention techniques and First Aid.

+ Valid driver’s license.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 10 years of operations, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation experience in an operating generating facility.

+ Completion of a one-year trade school program; additional experience may substitute for formal education.

**Education:**

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Trade school or equivalent experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
