Senior Application Developer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Application Developer** to join our team at **Eglin AFB** .

The Application Developer’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Conceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and/or maintaining web-based applications.

+ Apply strong business process modelling, project management and programming skills to satisfy the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners and managers.

+ Knowledge of a variety of client and/or server side programming languages (e.g. Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL) is a solid foundation to start and grow in this position.

+ You will rely on effective communication skills and technical savvy to plan, coordinate and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team.

+ Drive for results, creativity, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and versatility will be rewarded.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least 6 years experience is required. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

+ DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification within 6 months of hire

+ The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes.

+ Database planning, creation & modification including SQL experience (1 year desired)

+ General coding or scripting experience. Web application coding experience; both client-side: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and server side.

+ Visual Basic/VBA or Mobile application development experience a plus

+ Technical/engineering training or experience, especially in a test laboratory or prototype engineering environment is a plus

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have a current/active Secret Clearance

+ Must be willing and able to obtain a TS clearance

+ Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)

+ Willingness to submit to a Polygraph

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
