**Pay Rate: $18.62 / Hour**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.

+ Support daily location operations by observing equipment and material storage areas, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned duties.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
