**About Our Team**

The Epidemiology and Drug Safety practice at IQVIA is a fast-growing component of the Regulatory Science and Study Innovation (RSSI) division. With direct access to the world’s most comprehensive data, analytic and consulting/research resources, the team specializes in helping clients to address scientific questions including: disease burden, natural history, product safety and risk management, drug utilization, treatment patterns, and validation studies. Our clients include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturers. **Overview of the Role**

The Associate Principal manages multiple pharmacoepidemiology studies of varying complexity and ensures on-time and on-budget delivery for clients. The Associate Principal also contributes to new business development and maintaining and strengthening client base, including providing regulatory science support.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Work across global, matrixed teams to deliver single/multi-year, single/multi-country pharmacoepidemiology studies, including regulatory studies.

+ Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

+ Assist in developing and delivering insightful, impactful, epidemiological studies/programs to address biopharmaceutical client issues.

+ Assist in creating and elevating new scientific business opportunities.

+ Assist in leading client engagements throughout the study process; follow up with client post-delivery to ensure satisfaction and delivering high-value, high-impact studies.

+ Remain current on industry, clients, and competitive trends and directions in order to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues with assigned clients.

+ Mentor, coach, and share subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class scientific solutions for clients.

**Qualifications**

+ **PhD preferred; Master's degree required.**

+ **6+ years of professional experience in epidemiological consulting with pharmaceutical clients.**

+ Working knowledge of real-world datasets like healthcare administrative claims, EMR, and EHR data.

+ Experience with chart review studies, registry studies, and primary data collection studies.

+ Must have experience with advanced pharmacoepidemiology methods.

+ Must be able to manage multiple complex studies at one time.

+ Must be able to manage internal and external stakeholders.

+ A willingness and ability to travel 10-20%.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $151,200.00 - $306,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
