Mechanic II

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

**Position Details:**

+ **Location:** **Mease Dunedin Hospital – Dunedin, Florida**

+ **Status:** Full-time

+ **Shift:** 7:00am-3:30pm

+ **Days:** Monday – Friday / Every 3 rd weekend

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.

+ Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.

+ May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.

+ May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education**

+ **Required** - High School or Equivalent

+ **Preferred:** Technical

**Licenses**

+ **Required** - FL Driver's License

**Experience**

+ **Required:** 5 years as a Service-Related Technician

+ **Preferred:** 3 Years Hospital Maintenance

+ **Preferred:** 1 year high-rise mechanical or utilities systems

+ **Preferred:** Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
