As a **Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control** in **Dover, NJ** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a financial services location.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, lobbies, and/or other designated access points to help support authorized access, address irregular activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying post orders and emergency response procedures appropriate to the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues, and helping to support orderly daily operations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
